Print and interactive graphic for the article With Deaths of Forests, a Loss of Key Climate Protectors, part of Justin Gillis’s Temperature Rising series, which won the 2011 John B. Oakes Award for Distinguished Environmental Journalism.
The Oakes Award jury wrote: “The graphics made a strong contribution. They were clear, and as informative as they were visually attractive.”
The online graphic won a bronze medal from the international Malofiej competition.
